In my opinion Truxillo has a lot of potential of becoming a utopian city for many reasons, but especially for its tourist attractions such as the beautiful beach of Huanchaco, Chan-Chan, Huacas of the Sun and of the Moon, etc; and also for its primaveral weather.
ResponderEliminarI think that Truxillo is going better because all the citizens are conscious of this sprawling and are helping with the maintenance of this wonderful city that wants to be better everyday, For example, The major is remodeling the main square.

I think trujillo is becoming an utopian city, because of the so many attractions and places like restaurants, malls, parks, etc, but i thik Trujillo's citizens need more education because people steal, throw rubbish to the floor, they also don't respect the laws and/or rules. If we want to become an utopian city, we really need some big changes, starting with the citizens attitude

ResponderEliminarActually , i think that Trujillo has the potencial to become an utopion city but the real reason of the progress in our city isn't the shopping centers nor the malls. Nevertheless this is a reason hat we are becoming recognized in the world. So the real reason of the succesful progress is the touristic atractions for example Chan Chan or the HUacas del Sol y la Luna.
To sumarize tourist are transforming Trujillo in a better city .

I think that most people dream that Trujillo will probably be an utopian city.However if we want it we have to be conscious about the social problems that we have here. An utopian city doesn't have deliquency or some level of poverty. Here in Trujiloo we have it. for be a utopian city, first we have to reduce and then eliminate the social problems that we have.
ResponderEliminarAn utopian city has green and open areas and the construction of malls in city are reducing these areas. We cannot eliminate the malls because they contribute to the satisfaction of our basics needs. But we should moderate the creation of malls, not causing too much damage green areas.
If we want to have an utopia city here, we can do it, but if we work together.

It is important to consider the developement of the economy in our city and malls and tourism are helping to this a lot, but we also need to realize that there is another perspective and we have to analize this situation with another point of view. These factor had change things in Trujillo, today the population is increasing more and more very fast due to new job oportunities in the city, but Trujillo can´t afford or control a fast increasing of population because there is not enough police man in the city to control the order and decrease the level of crime in the city, as well as to control the traffic on the principal avenues. Another problem here is the pollution and the lack of green areas because of the new buildings for people who come from other cities, and the principal authorities of the city don’t pay atention to the problems, they don`t care about giving a solution or controlling the situation, they only care about their own bussines.
ResponderEliminarAs I said, Trujillo is growing very fast economycally, but if we continue with this big disorder, I think that Trujillo is too far from becoming a nice and peaceful city.

I think that Trujillo is very far of becoming an utopian city for many reasons.
ResponderEliminarTo mention just one specific case it's not an organized city. It seems to me that authorities only pay attention to certain areas like the downtown. As you can see they are fixing and decorating it by putting ponds, spending a lot of money to do it. I'm not against with those changes, because all of them help the city to look vibrant, the problem is when authorities neglect other areas that are important too such as parks, streets, avenues which are not surrounding the main places of the downtown and that are in bad state or that don't look appealing since most of them are dirty-specially in those streets and avenues where markets are located. Also, there aren't enough trashes on the streets,there is informal commerce in some streets that hinders the step to the people and to the traffic. Moreover, there is juvenile delinquency and most of the time it's difficult to deal with this problem. Furthermore, this city doesn`t have a good system of transportation. As a result, it's getting worst specially during rush hours. Consequently, my take is that authorities have to assess the kind of work they are doing and to improve their mistakes,there's absolutely no doubt about that. In addition, I think that all the new malls have contributed-in same way- to improve the economic situation in this city. Therefore, some people have gotten better standars of living. At the same time it has improved the kind of service in the different stores because of the competition and of course people have access to a great range of products. I think that it is good because it increases the competitiveness. Lastly, I think that authorities have to scrutiny the way how it is planned in order to avoid sprawling the city and to design a cozy and organized city where everybody can live happy.
In brief, I think it's going to take a lot of time so that this city could become an utopian city because we are living in an disorganized, callous,dangerous,and sprawling city.

I take your point,but I see it differently.I think an utopian city is a place where all people and things are beautiful and incredible.Nevertheless, we need to distinguish people and things. Nowadays , Trujillo is a result of urban sprawl, because of malls; these things help to support the idea of Trujillo, "an utopian city".But we need to see the reality of our city; green areas are been destroying by the human and the urban sprawl,and we know that an utopian city needs green areas;in addition, the garbage of people, is another reality of our city, we only see the downtown, but if we go to mayorista market,union market or El Porvenir, we see another reality with a lot of garbage that contaminates the environment.
ResponderEliminarOther aspect are people.I´m going to start talking about authorities, many authorities don´t respect neither people nor environment, and these people show us a bad example. Furthermore, people need to preserve the environment, we every day see some people throwing garbage away in the streets and the majority of these people show tourits the real face of Trujillo.
We need to remrmber,an utopian city is where all members have a good relationship, and if we want Trujillo be an utopian city, we need to do many changes, beginning with the authorities and the environment.
I THINK, AN UTOPYAN CITY IS A BEATIFUL AN EXCITING PLACE TO LIVE IN WHICH YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. TRUJILLO IS FAR AWAY TO BECAME A UTOPIAN CTY DUE TO IT HAS MANY BAD THINGS. FIRST, IN IT THERE AREN´T MANY GREEN AREAS, THEY HAVE BEEN DESTROYED IN ORDER TO BUILT HUGE BUILDINGS, SUCH AS APARTMENTS( BECAUSE THE POPULATION IS GROWING VERY FAST)AND BUILD BIG SHOPPING CENTERS, LIKE "MALL AVENTURA PLAZA", AND OTHRES, CONSEQUENTLY, THE OPEN AREAS ARE FEWER THAN BEFORE. ALSO,ALTHOUGH THE ECONOMY IS GROWING, THE WAY OF PEOPLE LIFE IS GETTING WORST BECAUSE IN TRUJILLO THE CRIME IS IN EVERY PLACE AND IN EVERY MINUTE. BESIDES, THE GARBAGE IN OUR CITY IS CONTAMINATING THE ENVIRONMENT, THERE ARE SOME PLACES WHERE PEOPLE THROW THEIR GARBAGE OR PUT IT IN FRONT THEIR HOUSES ALL THE DAY. OF COURSE,THE LANDSCAPE LOOKS TERRIBLE.

In my opinion trujillo is not to far from becoming a utopian city since it is not the same weather we could enjoy few years ago. Not only because of this reason but also because of people bad customs such as throw garbage down streets. So citizens need to stop being unconcious regarding our environment.

ResponderEliminarA great deal of people idealize Trujillo as a great and important city in a near future; in fact, all of us dream with this marvelous possibility. However, probably we must to wait long time to see this dream come true.
We can't deny that nowadays we see many changes in our city. Even though it is true, many companies are doing a great investment in the different areas that benefit and contribute with Trujillo's development, but it is neither a really important achievement like many authorities want to indicate to us nor enough to being an utopian city.
As far as I'm concerned, the most important sign of improvement is each citizen take into consideration the necessity of being an organized city: the necessity of a clean place, without crime, pollution and overcoat with people who help each other to the benefit of all citizens.
Definitely, Trujillo can become a utopian city, but it's work of everybody make it possible.

well, there's no simle answer to that sirtuation because to became a Utopia city,all of the citizen will have a nice life whitout poverty or people fight for political thing,the thing we need to look at is how we see a utopian live or what is our happiness for each of us, we have differentes point of view, but we can respest the ideas and if we try do to a better person every day we will obtain the utopian city that we want, but we need to consider a lot of thoghts and another way that people see a utopian city only because the economy is develop or people have more thing to buy, i thing that the real utopian city is when most of people helping other to understand what really doing in this wonderful world and how spend our time whit our family and friends.
