INTERMEDIATE- IS IT A GOOD IDEA TO USE MSN MESSENGER AT WORK?

some people do this and employers are really not happy about it..but is this activity really affecting their performance at work?

    I think it is bad idea use messenger at work because it is a way of relaxing. this affects the concentration And the performance of a good work.I can say: when I do a work in Internet I am mas attentive to the messenger that in doing a good work.It is impossible don no pay attention about it. intermedio5

    well, i think that depende on how is the person that is using it becouse if someone is a responsible person he can use it to comunicate whit other people to get some information or to agree on a bussines meeting,but if someone is an irresponsible person maybe he'll use it to meet new people or to waste his time .

    ...I think internet at work interrupt the employers'concetration. First, they won't want to work because for them is better to relax enjoying using Internet than work longer hours. Internet also can make addicts because employers have Internet 24/7. Internet can be dangerous if you don't use it correctly. But, not all about Internet is bad, you can listen to music, but sweet music, it can be nice and relaxing if you have to work longer hours. Also, in your leisure time you can surf in Web, if it's relaxing to you, you chat with friends, play games or puzzlesor search information to be informed about the news,but not when you're working...

    Remember: " Addicts are not conroling the machie, the machine is controling them "...

    I think it is appropriate use MSM messenger because,a lot of people and I think it is like you are taking time to chat to your friends and you can't concentrated in your work.On the other hand,it has some advantages like you can receivesome information to do a better job .Finally,that use MSM messenger has advantages and disadvantages. bye Marianela.

    I think it's a good idea to use messenger at the workplace. I consider this is relevant for some reasons. First, when the job requires it depending on the area where the employec works and second, because this is going to let me employee use it as a great means of information sharing.

    hello! it is bad to have the messenger while we work because when we want to do the things well we are not going to be able to do it and they are going to go out for us badly for being concentrated in the messenger therefore i am in against that while work have the oponed messenger. apart that we make ourselves the things badly we get used to taking but important to the messenger that to my work and this proboca they are caraless his responsibilities that perfrom supreme important.

    I THINK IS IMPORTANT THAT THE EMPLOYERS ARE RELAXED,BUT THERE ARE OTHER WAYS,PLEASE,THEY CAN'T WORKING HAVING MSNGR NEAR,IS A TENTATION,BECAUSE THEY'LL SPEND ALL THE DAY SURFING IN THE NET AND NEVER WORK.A SERIOUS JOB NEED RESPONSABILITY,ALSO ENTERTAINMENT AND WORK SELDOM ARE JOINED.THE EMPLOYERS SHOULD BE CONCENTRED IN THEIR WORK AND NEXT WHEN THEY FINISH,THEY COULD ORGANIZE THEIR TIME AND HAVE SOMEONE HOBBY,ACTIVITIE OR PRACTICE SPORT.I'M TOTALLY AGAINST THE MSNGR INTO THE WORK,YOU SHOULD THIS ONLY TO COMUNICATE IMPORTANT THINGS,BESIDES WHEN YOU GO TO ANY ENTERPRISE YOU WANT TO BE GOOD ASSISTED.FINALLY THE EMPLOYERS MUST BE RESPONSABLE AND EFFICIENT BECAUSE IT ALLOW THEY IMPROVE THEIR ABILITIES AND SKILLS AND TO BE PROMOTED INTO OF THEIR ENTERPRISES.

    in my opinnion i think that the company they work for should create an e-mail for each worker allowing them to use messenger with it, by this way they can communicate with their co-workers in a fast way so they can improve their performance. In the other hand if the company allows to use messenger to the workers with they current e-mail, they can distract themselves by talking with some other people. i think that messenger being used by this way is a bad idea.     If msn affects work or not? well it depends. Using msn at work could affect in a bad way if workers are careless with their job because of msn. Also msn can not affect if workers are concius about it. Some bosses prefer to avoid looking for workers that not affect work with msn, so them jus blocked the use of msn at computers in their workplace. Using msn is cool. I can not deny I like it, but if we use it for fun we must use it in our leasure time.

    well, In my opinion, I believe that the use of Messenger at work is a form of distraction. but it can be considered as an aid to easier and faster our work. for example sending important documents and communicate quickly with the person you want.
    I think that the use of messenger at work depends of form to how we use this instrument.
